First visitors to SEASEA's new home

On Friday, October 26th Scott, Phyllis, Sam and Laura Brannon came for a visit to Scottsboro, Alabama. We took SEASEA out for a 3 hour cruise to an anchorage near the Guntersville Dam. Prior to leaving, the new crew received the "head talk".

It was a cool morning but the temperature did not stop them from riding on the foredeck.

Sam drove part of the way and almost immediately after anchoring, we lowered the dinghy so Sam and Laura could go fishing.

Sam fished from every spot he could find but nothing much was biting.

Stacy and Laura went exploring in the dinghy and Laura became quickly adept at driving. When they got back Laura climbed through the aft deck door but left the handrail down so it would become the "Clubhouse Door".

We played "Clue" during the evening (notice that Aunt Stacy is NOT playing).

On our return trip to Goose Pond Marina, Laura and Sam alternated driving. Laura made sure she was driving as we went under this bridge.

After we docked back in our slip, Sam & Laura again went fishing and then later enjoyed cards on the foredeck. Before leaving they signed their flip-flops in the "V" Berth.

These were the first visitors to SEASEA's new home on the Tennessee River. We hope they will come back again. (Sam & Laura, someone on the dock told me that the Crappie are just starting to come in to shallower water and will be biting well during the next month or so.)
